CONSENSUS Paper accepted at PCI 2014

CONSENSUS paper “An adaptive score model for a policy-making education game” has been accepted as a poster in the 18th Panhellenic Conference on Informatics (PCI 2014), which will take place on October 2 -4, 2014, in Athens, Greece. It will also be published in poster section of the International Conference Proceedings Series of ACM for the PCI 2014.

CONSENSUS Project Presentation @ 5th Samos Summit 2014

CONSENSUS project presentation at the 5th Samos Summit 2014 on ICT-enabled Governance is now available! The presentation entitled "Social computing approaches for policy support", was given by Dora Varvarigou, CONSENSUS Project Coordinator (ICCS/NTUA), during the Global Systems Science session on 30 June 2014 to an audience of around 20 researchers.

CONSENSUS Project @ 5th Samos Summit 2014

CONSENSUS project was presented during the first day of the 5th Samos Summit 2014 on ICT-enabled Governance, which takes place on 30 June - 2 July 2014, in Samos, Greece. The presentation entitled "Social computing approaches for policy support" was given by Dora Varvarigou, CONSENSUS Project Coordinator (ICCS/NTUA), introducing the developments of the project within the Global Systems Science session.

CONSENSUS @ ERF Symposium 2014

CONSENSUS brochures were distributed  at the ERF Symposium on Future Road Infrastructure Challenges which was held on 18 June 2014 in Brussels, Belgium. Around 100 Road Transport experts, European Commission  officials, Representatives of EU  permanent representations, road agencies participated to this event, which intended to be a dynamic and interactive forum for discussion on the current challenges faced by the sector.

CONSENSUS Presentation @ TRANSCON 2014

CONSENSUS project was presented at the 6th International Exhibition for Transport Infrastructure Construction (TRANSCON 2014) which was held from 14 to 16 of May 2014 in Moscow, Russia. Around 70 Road Transport experts, European Commission  officials, Representatives of EU  permanent representations, road agencies and universities  had the chance to be informed about the project during the panel 'The European experience: towards a safer and more sustainable road infrastructure'.

CONSENSUS @ TRA 2014

CONSENSUS brochures were distributed via ERF's booth at the Transport Research Arena (TRA 2014), which was held from 14 until 17 April 2014 in Paris, France. Around 1000 Road Transport experts, European Commission  officials, Representatives of EU  permanent representations, road agencies and universities from EU countries participated to this event.

CONSENSUS 2nd Project Meeting

The 2nd meeting of CONSENSUS project took place in Vienna- Laxenburg, Austria on 26th and 27th of February, 2014. The presentations and discussions during the meeting focused on the following issues:

Questionnaire for citizens

Consensus is trying to understand which is the best way to educate citizens about policy objectives and their respective tradeoffs. In order to do so, it will implement a web tool that will use visualizations and will allow the citizen to interact with it so as to better appreciate the data and possibly the consequences of certain decisions.

e-Consultation in the field of Sustainability of Biofuels

The Consensus project is very pleased to invite you to contribute to an e-Consultation aiming at identifying decision making needs and requirements that must be satisfied in order to design a final tool able to address towards policies that can overwhelm the potential negative impacts of unsustainable biofuels production.
